What happens on my first visit?

Your first visit will normally last 45 minutes. During that time your Chiropractor will

• take a full medical, presenting symptom and lifestyle history
• perform a thorough physical, orthopaedic and neurological examination
• take x-rays if necessary
• refer you to another health professional if Chiropractic care is not suitable for you.

Then what happens on my second visit?

Your second visit is ideally within two days of your first visit. We recommend that you bring somebody close to you to this appointment. It will last approximately 30 minutes. During that time your Chiropractor will clearly explain

• what they found in your examination and what it means
• the results of your x-rays (if taken)
• your proposed treatment plan
• any lifestyle changes that need to be addressed

You will then receive your first chiropractic treatment and your personal report of findings folder to take home.
