The Whiplash Patient
“I was involved in a seemingly fairly minor road accident in September, but within a few days I was in agony. I had no mobility in my right shoulder and both my neck and spine were extremely sore. I was recommended to Siân by a previous patient who had spotted me hobbling around at work. I made an appointment and was seen the next day. From the outset the service was excellent, friendly reception team and a welcoming atmosphere. After filling in a very simple form I was examined by Siân who administered lots of tests, explaining at every stage what was happening and why. I was then x-rayed on site. A day or so later I was asked back to discuss my x-rays which were explained in simple terms. Based on these and the other tests a treatment plan was drawn up. From the start the benefits were clear. I was also given a number of stretching exercises to complete at home to aid my recovery. After the first couple of weeks my symptoms and pain were massively improved and my mobility was improving dramatically. By the end of my treatment plan in late December I was almost completely recovered, having enjoyed a pain free Christmas. I would certainly recommend Siân and her team to anyone who has had the misfortune to be involved in a road accident.”

The Office Patient
I spend a considerable amount of my time at a computer creating inspiring artwork for my customers. The down side to this is the detrimental effect on my spine. Advanced Health’s attention to detail for finding the cause of the problem, treating this, and then managing this on an ongoing basis to prevent a future relapse, is testament to their true care to their patients.
