This state-of-the art equipment allows the Chiropractors to take x-rays and have them developed within minutes. At the time of print Advanced Health was one of only twelve Chiropractic Clinics in the country with this latest technology. It is very similar to digital photography, where films do not need to be developed using chemicals but instead are done so using computer technology.

MRI Scans
An MRI scan allows us to see everything that an x-ray shows. In addition to this, soft tissues (such as cartilage, discs, muscles, tendons) and also organs can be viewed. If your Chiropractor recommends an MRI scan we can arrange one for you at the most cost effective price in the region.
Computerised GaitScan™ System
In your lifetime your feet will take over 100 million steps, with every step making an impact on your body. If your feet are not moving as they should, they do not absorb shock efficiently. This increases strain on your ankles, knees, hips and spine. The GaitScan™ digitally analyses the way that you walk and from this your Chiropractor can tell you what the effect this will have on the rest of your body. If necessary they will prescribe and order orthotics (shoe insoles to correct the way that you walk) to suit your specific needs.
