Digital X-Ray Facilities - From early 2006
Advanced Health Chiropractic will have digital x-ray facilities. This state of the art equipment will allow the Chiropractors to take X-rays on site and have the results within minutes. It can also measure bone density, allowing the Chiropractors to scan for Osteoporosis, and warn patients of their risk of bone fracture. The patient will then receive a copy of their x-rays on a CD-ROM, which they can take to other health professionals.
No other Chiropractic Clinic in Harrogate has X-RAY facilities and only the Hospital has a digital system.

COMPUTERISED GATSCAN TM SYSTEM - In your lifetime your feet will take over 100 million steps, with every step making an impact on your body. If your feet are not functioning as they should they do not shock absorb efficiently, therefore increasing strain on your ankles, knees, hips and spine. The GaitScan digitally analyses the way that you walk and from this the Chiropractor can tell what affect this will have on the rest of your body.
The GAITSCAN system is the only system of its kind in Harrogate.

Prescription Orthotics - Both the Chiropractors are trained in prescribing orthotics to wear in your shoes to improve foot function and take the strain off your other joints. This works in conjunction with the GaitScan TM system.
